Aber, darum geht es hier ja eigentlich gar nicht: im Artikel über die Aussagen von Wolfgang Bosbach schreibt RP Online auch:
In der Bundesregierung wird nach Informationen unserer Redaktion aus Regierungskreisen bereits über einen "Internet-Ausweis" nachgedacht, mit dem Nutzer identifiziert und zurückverfolgt werden können.
Auf Twitter schlug es natürlich direkt Wellen, auch Golem und andere nahmen den Knochen dankbar auf. Nachzudenken, warum ausgerechnet RP-Online diese exklusive Info haben sollte, scheint (fast) niemand.
Mir ging direkt eher ein "Moment..." durch den Kopf.
Man sollte vielleicht ein paar Dinge zusammen führen, die auf den ersten Blick nichts mit einander zu tun haben:
1. Bei Stefan Niggemeier im Blog gibt es eine eigene Artikel-Serie "Doof wie RP Online"
2. Der Bundestag hat Ende vergangenen Jahres den elektronischen Personalausweis beschlossen. Optional kann im ePerso eine Funktion aktiviert werden, mit dem sich ein Bürger z.B. bei Einkäufen identifizieren kann (Stichwort Digitale Signatur) - und damit natürlich auch auf einen Benutzer "zurückverfolgt" werden kann.
Man füge beide Fakten zusammen, schüttle kräftig, um RP-Online zu simulieren und Tadaa - schon erhält man einen "Internetausweis, mit dem Nutzer identifiziert und zurückverfolgt werden können"!
Somit: tief durchatem und wieder (etwas) zurücklehnen.
Update: heise hat beim Bundesinnenministerium nachgefragt und "erstaunlicherweise" weiß man dort nichts von einem "Internet-Ausweis". Auch heise.de scheint der Meinung zu sein, dass RP-Online den ePersonalausweis nicht ganz verstanden hat.
Besonders witzig: die heise-Meldung kam gestern um 15.41 Uhr. Schon um 16.28 Uhr fügt Golem.de ein Update in die Meldung ein, in dem - ohne heise zu nennen, zugegeben wird, dass das Ganze eine Ente war. Satte 3 Stunden später, um 19.46 Uhr übernimmt Zeit Online den ursprünglichen Golem-Artikel ohne das Update. Willkommen bei den Qualitätsmedien!
